Not enough to the ducks, you would need a somewhat bigger name going to them from Boston.

I could see Beecher, Lysell, Grzelcyk, DeBrusk, Harrison, a First and a Second for that package

Doubt the ducks have any intention to move the face of their franchise

I just don't see it, it sets Anaheims rebuild back significantly. The only reason they would trade him is if he makes it clear he doesn't want to be there, which why wouldn't he, he's the face of the franchise.

A lot of that trade is filler and useless to Anaheim. It'd probably look like: DeBrusk, Lysell, Merkulov, 1st rounder, 2nd rounder, maybe Grz and another pick to clear cap to sign him long term. I don't see him signing for that.

Ducks pass easily.

2 pieces there of interest. Rest is just quantity over quality filler.

I could see : Lysell, Lohrei, Zacha, 2025 first, 2026 first, 2027 first, 2026 second and 2026 third for Zegras, not that crap

Zegras isn't the one to target. McTavish is a more feasible add and works better for the Bruins cap situation. Package is still the difficulty, since there's not much we have to offer the Ducks, but I could see moving a 1st, Gryz and Debrusk OR Carlo and Frederic, plus Lysell for McTavish and a roster player (Hagg maybe makes sense).
If the Ducks move on from Gibson, then Swayman for McTavish could be a deal to build upon.

McTavish is a former 3OA pick with tons of potential, you won’t get either of them

My guy, he's not McDavid. The deal doesn't make sense regardless for the Ducks, but in terms of value, take out Zacha, a 1st, and a 2nd and it's there. Take out another first and add Debrusk and it's better.

Rough. That 70 may be unattainable in today's NHL. But that 60 is very possible

Probably not, but he's more likely than Zegras

Nobody thought 150pts was possible but McJesus did it. If anyone can pot 70 Gs, its Pasta. Rantanen was leaned on more than seasons past & delivered a career high performance; Pasta could be in the same boat.

As has pretty much been said, you won't get Zegras. McTavish isn't available either.

The centers you could get from Anaheim are Strome or Lundestrom. Unfortunately it came out today that Lundestrom injured his Achilles in off-season training and won't start the season until January.

The ship has sailed on getting a bonafide top center for the beginning of this season. Maybe one can be traded for at the TDL. Some the current centers may surprise us this year. I’m looking to Zacha and Coyle to make strides towards being much better with Bergeron gone. Geekie may also be a pleasant surprise!
