Maybe if MTL fans stopped overrating every single one of their players, I wouldn't have to make comments like this

As a Habs fan, I gotta say the other guys are right, this is pretty bad for BUF

Maybe it you that overrating Peterka. Harris was among leader for rookie in maybe category on defense. Is defensive reliability is great. Is number where excellent with a atrocious team. Since when defenseman have less value then winger? Because you have a preference for a players doesn’t mean i doesn’t maje sense. Harris would instantly fill a void in Buffalo blue line something that was a major problem last year. Peterka is a interesting you winger but he id way down on depth chart in Buffalo.

And why would that be! A 4-5th defenseman for a 3rd line winger.

Harris is a 4-5 D, but JJ has a lot more potential than Harris. He could even play on a first line in the future if things continue develop well

Topping out at 3rd line wingers generally aren’t close to a ppg in the AHL at age 19

Buffalo says no. Harris is okay but Peterka looks to have the makings of a real solid middle 6 - Top 6 winger, something I doubt they’d want to move for a player who would be on their 3rd pairing D. (Still wish the Sens picked him at 33 that year lol)

This makes no sense for the Habs. Harris is a lot more valuable to the Canadiens than Peterka will be

I would say no to Harris without hesitation. Barron would be a conversation.

Montreal does not have a prospect that would make sense for Buffalo to trade Peterka for, at least not one Montreal would part with.
