Fair deal! Excited to see what Kupari can bring to WPG's bottom 6!

Good deal. Gives him 2 years to show he was mismanaged in LA and was worth a first round pick. My guess is he does.

Nice to see them get another piece of the Dubois package signed. As a 23-year-old former 1st round pick, maybe he still has some upside with a change of scenery, but with this contract the team isn't paying for any upside that may or may not be there, so it's pretty safe.

Great contract. Thought he might come in a little higher. Should exceed this value easily.

Before I found out he was part of the Dubois trade, I was really looking forward to seeing a Fiala-Dubois-Kupari line.

Kupari is a very solid player that can play literally anywhere in the bottom 6, with potential to be a top 6 complementary player.

I really like Kupari. Getting him at a very affordable price for the next 2 years is a tidy piece of work

It's a 100% buriable contract, so even if he goes to the minors again, it won't hurt the team.

Except that he's no longer waivers exempt, so if they try to send him down, they could lose him. I think they expect him to play for the Jets.

He didn't have much leverage for more, but I'm impressed Winnipeg got him to sign that for 2 years.

Let’s hope that winnipeg doesn’t keep its tradition to become a graveyard for Finnish prospects.

Kupari will breakout largely for us. Expect him putting up big points before this contract is over. He's an underrated stud.
