while i don't think coyotes move keller, the conversation certainly doesn't start without Nylanders name in the convo + extension

some shockingly bad trades for the other teams....and yet still over the cap with 18 skaters

Not even cap compliant with a 20 man rostershakes head
Brodie isn't waiving to west coast non playoff team.

-This Keller trade is awful. The idea that you could get Arizona to move him without a single 1st rounder or, you know, A-tier prospect is laughable.

-I could see Anaheim maybe having interest in Brodie as a vet to help mentor their younger players; however, I can't see Anaheim giving up a younger player AND a 2nd for that right, nor can I see TJ Brodie forgetting to include the rebuilding Ducks on his 10 team NTC.

-The constant drumbeat around the Islanders is how they need scoring and how they need to upgrade their wingers. Even if this pu pu platter of midround picks is a cheap price to pay, why would they be targeting a defense first center like Kampf?

Ana will give at most a 3rd for Brodie. They aren’t competing, he’s a pending UFA, ANA has no issue playing the season as they are. All the leverage sits with them

"Heres all our prospects that havent panned out near their draft capital, a few 6ths and a third, can we have your best player thats signed long term coming off a career best season"

Makes sense this is a Leafs ACGM

Keller starts with a first plus, and at least one real prospect (not those dubious futures). Arizona won't take less for him (if he's even on the market, which I doubt) than they took for Jakob Chychrun.

I can't see Anaheim paying more than a third for Brodie even if J wants to relocate, which is unlikely.

Still think that's too generous given his real salary.

Totally might be. Just saying that’s the absolute max. I imagine they’d likely end up moving him at the deadline, offsetting some of that salary and cost anyways
