If Kane wants $5m, then huge pass lol He can sign for cheap or go somewhere else

Highly unlikely they ever trade Lindgren. Probably better than Lauzon and you’d piss Fox off

Hawks decline instantly. Vesey and a 2nd doesn't even cover taking Goodrow's contract. No chance the Hawks send back a pick. And Goodrow isn't waiving for Chicago anyway.

Neither Jones nor Robertson would crack the Kings lineup.

Ziemmer has the highest ceiling of any player in the trade. All he does is score and hurt people. That's exactly what the Kings need.

Kings pass.

I agree 100% with Hawksguy81 on the trade value. I'll add that Vesey is back in a good spot with you guys and you're getting him on the cheap. I wouldn't trade him away if I were you.

No way he does. The guy has more hardware and rings then about any player in the league. He wants to win, but not that bad coming off a $10.5M salary.

Lindgren is going to be an injury riddled over paid D-man within two season or less. Lauzon is younger and can actually fight not just get beat up and bleed like Lindgren.

I can’t see Kane signing for less than 5 million. One of the greatest players of this generation.

No the Hawks are on a rebuild a player like Goodrow can play anywhere in that lineup. Plus you need a guy who is willing to stand up for the young CB.

The Rags would rather buy him out than trade away a 1st round pick.

Vesey is the equivalent of any AHL teams best forward. What this team needs is a 4th liner who can hit and defend teammates. If your team NEEDS the 4th line RW to score goals to win games you got serious top 9 problems.

Do you even know who Ziemmer and Mackinnon are? Other than Lindgren who will no doubt not play a healthy 82 games which player traded makes this seem like not a Rangers fan???

Please don’t tell me you a Vesey fan boy, cause you can get any top forward AHL to fill in his spot. Plus wouldn’t you rather make space for a Cuylle or Othmann??? Why waste a lineup spot for a guy who won’t hit defend teammates or has any future upside?

Lindgren is one of the better underrated defensive defensemen in the league lol. No way Lauzon is shutting down top players

No one has cap for Kane lol he’s gonna have to sign for cheap or sign with a non playoff team

Dude vesey is the only forward who actually plays defense lmao besides there is space next year for cuylle and Othmann. They need more AHL seasoning

If you haven't noticed, the Rangers are in a "win now" mode while Shesty is on a team friendly contract, so "futures" don't help with that. And you keep taking about "standing up for teammates" yet you want to dump Goodrow, one of our very few players that does that, for a trash 4th liner that can hardly stay in the Hawks line-up along with Vesey and a 2nd round pick. TERRIBLE trade idea IMO. Vesey is worth every penny of $800k, a responsible defensive forward that can play either wing, kill penalties and chip in 25 or so points from the 4th line. If you think an AHL forward can do that, you don't know much about hockey.

Trading Lindgren is absurd, he is the heart and soul of the D corp and team. Lauzon is meh, but he can fight, but who cares. We have Trouba who can do that, and Goodrow.

Trading 2 good, cheap LD prospects for an 18 yo 3rd round pick also makes no sense.

Othmann and Cuylee will both benefit from a year in Hartford, but if they show they are ready now, great, then Drury can move out one or two of the cheap 4th liners he signed this off-season or bury them in the AHL with no cap hit.

Bottom line, none of these trades make the Rangers better now which is what they need most.

Hawks have Perry, Foligno and Johnson in their forward group who can "stand up for Bedard when necessary. Don't need a 4th guy for that role. Hawks rebuild plan involves drafting and developing their own guys. Not taking on long term deals. And Goodrow isn't waiving for Chicago anyway.

You obviously missed earlier in the off season when the Hawks signed Perry and Foligno not to mention Tinordi who they already had to “stand up for the young guys. So Goodrow is not a “need” for the Blackhawks.

At the end of the day if the Rags want Chicago to help them out of their cap situation it will cost more then flipping 2nd a 4th round picks and bottom 6 forwards.

At the trade deadline the Rangers held leverage over the Hawks during the Kane negotiations, this scenario the tables have turned given their are only 3 or 4 teams that even have the cap space to take on Goodrow’s $3.6m cap hit for the next four seasons, not to mention the actual $16m in actual $$ owed to him.
