Pinto hasn't played enough games to be eligible for a offersheet.

Harris is worth way more than just moving up a couple spots on the draft

This shows you know nothing about offersheets.

Harris as a small LHD is the last thing Winnipeg needs isn't worth anywhere close to a 2nd to the Jets.

I appreciate the effort to balance out the value for the 2nd rounder. The value is probably as high as it'll get for that pick, but I don't think the Jets are interested in Harris. The Jets are already bursting at the seams with fringe left-handed Dmen who deserve to fight for a roster spot. Heinola could play bottom pairing but is stuck behind Stanley and Chisholm because the latter two won't clear waivers. Adding Harris into the mix without being able to utilize him doesn't really help the Jets as an organization. He can play right side, but so can Chisholm and Heinola (Jets management are trying to make Heinola on the right-side happen, personally I can see it if he pairs with Samberg in a couple years).

As for right-handed D prospects, I'm not sure it could work out either tbh. None of the guys the Jets could be interested in (i.e. are better than our current RHD prospects) are on the trade market or near the value of a 2nd rounder.

And then there's the unfortunate fact that ...

...which makes all this conversation a moot point anyway. Pesky CBA always getting in the way of our fantasies.

The Canadiens need to have their own 2nd round pick to be able to make the offer sheet to Pinto hence the added cost to re-acquire the pick.
Jets wouldn't want Harris though as they already have a glut of left shot defensemen.
