You should see the "source" cited when they propose Anderson to NJ. It's a reporter assuming there's something there based on the title of an episode of 32TP, in which they flat out say NJ would never trade for Anderson

Considering MTL would need to send a 1st to any team taking Anderson, this is extraordinarily underwhelming. Add another first in there and now we're closer to a real offer.

even with the caufield friendship I doubt Zegras would want to play in Canada, let alone Montreal. That would be a media nightmare, they would eat him up about mistakes, and he wouldn't sit quietly and take it. He hasn't faced much scrutiny in a rebuilding playoffless Anaheim, but lets not forget the player he was during the WJC. That personality hasn't left him, there just hasn't been a time in the NHL to bring it out of him again
