Trades
1.
NSH
  1. Gibson, Andrew [Reserve List]
  2. 2024 2nd round pick (DET)
Additional Details:
Nashville acquires a 2nd and a player who might play NHL games. Good size, could be a bottom-four defenseman down the line.
DET
  1. O'Reilly, Ryan
Additional Details:
Detroit gets a competent 2C, Compher is *fine* but not good enough to be the 2C for a young team looking for steadiness and talent at that position.
2.
NSH
  1. Lambos, Carson
  2. Yurov, Danila [Reserve List]
  3. 2024 1st round pick (MIN)
Additional Details:
Nashville acquires a haul of what should be a top-16 pick and two legitimately good prospects. Considering his talent and performance this year, it's a fair deal.
MIN
  1. Forsberg, Filip
Additional Details:
Wild get a massive addition to their top-six, which lacks legitimate scoring depth as is.
3.
NSH
  1. Foote, Nolan [RFA Rights]
  2. Vilén, Topias
  3. 2024 1st round pick (NJD)
Additional Details:
Nashville acquires a late first rounder, NHL ready 22 year old in Foote, and 20 year old defenseman on track for bottom-four minutes in the NHL.
NJD
  1. Saros, Juuse
Additional Details:
Devils get a much needed goaltender.
4.
NSH
  1. Wright, Shane
  2. 2024 5th round pick (SEA)
Additional Details:
Nashville gets their 1C of the future.
SEA
  1. Josi, Roman
Additional Details:
Kraken get one of the top RDs in the league, will eat up 25+ mins a night and QB PP1 /PK1.
5.
NSH
  1. 2024 4th round pick (NYI)
Additional Details:
Lou Lamiorello.
NYI
  1. McDonagh, Ryan ($3,375,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Cap dump! Still a good player though.
6.
NSH
  1. 2025 4th round pick (LAK)
LAK
  1. Lauzon, Jérémy
Additional Details:
I don't actually think the Kings want Lauzon but I think this would probably be the price. Kings get a shoddy enforcer dman, I guess.
7.
NSH
  1. 2025 5th round pick (BOS)
  2. 2026 5th round pick (BOS)
BOS
  1. Sissons, Colton
Additional Details:
Bruins acquire a competent 3C.
8.
NSH
  1. 2024 4th round pick (PIT)
  2. 2025 4th round pick (PIT)
  3. 2026 7th round pick (PIT)
PIT
  1. Nyquist, Gustav
Additional Details:
Penguins acquire some middle-six winger depth.
9.
NSH
  1. 2025 6th round pick (CHI)
CHI
  1. Schenn, Luke
Additional Details:
Doesn't go to Blackhawks, I just think this would be his price lol

Unfortunately, the Devils 2024 pick is not likely to be a “late one”…

Detroit does not need yet another center to add to a non contending team. Wrong target.

Sure id rather O'Reilly than Compher but idk if I'd pay for it, maybe if we could move copp and save a bit of cap.

I can't see Detroit doing this with Danielson and Kasper almost ready. Plus Detroit is really thin when it comes to RHDs. They have Seider, Holl and Petry. With Newpower, Rafferty and Tuomisto as the other options currently in the AHL you can that they move Ghost or Chiarot over to play on their off side since both are LHDs. Tuomisto could become a solid 3rd pair dman but he has only played 2 games in the AHL so far. So he is nowhere near ready.

I don't like trading and RHD prospect since we are thin across the board at that position. We have ASP, Gibson, Anton Johansson and Phelan.

I can't see NSH doing most of these. It is more because something stops it, even if NSH would accept it otherwise, but some of these are atrocious, no other way around it.

NSH-DET - NSH declines. ROR was brought in to be a mentor to players, especially if something like your Josi trade went through, I can't see a better mentor for Wright in NSH now than ROR. It is just a bonus that he has performed well under Burnette and with Forsberg as a linemate. I can't see NSH giving him up now after all he has proved in NSH.

NSH-MIN - I think NSH would at least entertain the idea, but I think they decline. It is a haul for Forsberg, but I think between NSH already having a stud LD in system with Moleyndk, and finally has something solid between him and ROR. Additionally, I don't think Forsberg waives his NMC.

NSH-NJD - I'm going to assume this was a joke. You aren't even remotely close to an offer for a top 5 goalie in the league. The asking price last deadline was 3-4 blue-chip prospects/1st round picks when LA came asking. The price likely hasn't dropped a ton since Saros would be the best goalie on the market, and Trotz has already stated his intention to resign Saros. If he gets moved it will for exactly what Trotz wants.

NSH-SEA - 1st off, Josi is an LD, not RD. 2nd, I think NSH would consider doing this, but the combination of Josi and the cap shuts this down. I can't see him waving his NMC to go to SEA, plus SEA can't afford Josi's contract.

NSH-NYI - NSH declines. NSH only has 1 retention spot left and they would probably not like to use for several years, preventing other moves from happening, just to move his contract. If NSH is truly tearing it down, I'm up for taking more contracts like his and having people pay NSH to take them on.

NSH-BOS - NSH declines. Sissons is worth more than 2 5th round picks. He doesn't put up points, but is more defensively inclined and thrives in that role. If NSH was to move him it would likely be for a 2nd or 3rd, especially given that he is signed to a pretty friendly contract for a few more years.

NSH-PIT - I would hope NSH gets more for Nyquist than this. He has very quietly put up nearly a PPG since starting with NSH (14 points in 19 games). I would expect more, especially if this is a deadline trade.

The evaluations of Lauzon and Shenn are probably right. If I could get a 3rd for Lauzon I'd be happy with that though, especially considering NSH payed a 2nd for him.

The price on Saros has absolutely dropped because he’s played like dog**** this year
