The only ones that make even remote sense are Wahlstrom and maybe Krebs. Although the Islanders have a bunch of LD so maybe not them much.

This site is going to be astonished when they see how low Broberg’s value really is.

Almost all of these heavily favour the Oilers.

Don't see any reason why the Blues would trade Blais for Broberg.

I could see the Blues being interested in Broberg in a package involving a defenseman and a forward, but I'm also not sure how that would work out. We have alot of depth on the blueline already and adding Broberg would essentially put us at 9 d men on the roster (I'm not sure if he can be sent down)

I think you're going to need to look at something similar to the Samurokov - Kostin trade a few years back.

As an Oilers fan, his value is low. Holland should of traded him 1-2 years ago, when he had more value, but here we are....
IMO, some of these trades are close. Dman take longer to develop, and I do think that Broberg will develop into a serviceable 4-5 guy, but that isn't fitting Oilers current window.

How? Only one that clearly favors the Oilers is the Nashville and Columbus one.
McBain, Krebs, Dube, Evans and Blais are all bottom 6/fourth line forwards (maybe minus Dube)
Wahlstrom trade is one underperformer for another
Frost is not liked by Torts and is scratched

Based on Frost not being liked by Torts and being a healthy scratch.

No, Oilers need another bottom 6 center, which Evans is. He's filling a position of need for us. Its also a "money in, money out" deal, which is what we're looking for.

This was just based on other Blues AGM's posting potential trades.

I don't think they will be astonished. His value is not high at all right now. He will probably be moved for a cheap roster player that can improve the Oilers defensive play

They should just send Broberg to the minors to develop and sign a cheap vet to be their #7 dman, no point in trading him since they won't likely get good value for him.

In an ideal world yes, but Broberg is the one who asked for a trade.

Montreal doesnt wants or needs defensemen or small wingers. The pipeline is full. Complete. Overflowing.

This simple fact makes 90% of the AGMs involving MTL a complete waste of time.

holy ****, you actually have no concept of asset management, Another trade where youd rather keep a role player than get someone with potential upside. Evans is a 4C on any other team in the league. Only on the Habs he gets top 6 minutes. And the only thing the Habs pipeline is full of is **** bottom 6 forwards. Broberg actually have top 4 upside and allows the Habs to use a Xhekaj or Harris in a trade to move up in the trade or acquire elite talent

Not necessarily a great comparison. Broberg has had alot more experience at the NHL level whether right or wrong.

Someone in a more similar situation, Kravstov got Lockwood and a 7th as a return.

Broberg is a bust who can't even crack EDMs roster because freakin Brett Kulak is better ....

Trading Xhekaj? Stop reading blogs dude.
