Very random and off topic but what is the deal with D’Angelo? I don’t watch Canes games but I hear he is a problem in the locker room. Guy is pretty decent and making 1.6M as an RHD. Do the cons outweigh the pros with this guy?

He’s not a problem in the Canes locker room, just the 7th best defenseman on our team. If you have a LHD who can play well with him he’d be great at 3 RHD and PP guy.

Trading Guentzel makes sense and were also moving expiring guys. Jake isnt gonna resign if were this bad and MP28 might be our most valuable asset aside from the core 4. We have the cap space in the offseason to recoil and try something new and see who's out there in free agency and on the trade market but right now this team needs a big swing

I'd consider that package for Bryan Rust with 50% retention. Guentzel not so much.

I'm not upset about the trade, I'd welcome Acciari back. There's cap savings in this as well.

I think it's risky going with Jones/Woll as the tandem, though. I'd hate to make this deal, only to have Sammy bounce back to have at least a .900%.

I'm not really sure it makes sense from Pitt's perspective. Your back up goaltending spot not only gets worse (for now) and is more expensive. All to acquire a 3rd and 4th? Seems odd, in my opinion at least.

If you’re playing TDA, you’re doing so for offensive purposes. You need him paired with a defensive guy who can cover for him.

He is not good defensively, but he sure can pass the puck and run a PP.
