Canucks decline. Tanev and Mangiapane aren’t nearly big enough upgrades over Cole and Lafferty to consider giving up multiple 1sts for them.

Colorado trade seems fair for both side. May be a tad weak for Calgary.
Carter has a full NMC. Pittsburgh shouldn't be buying. So that trade doesn't work.
LAK are not trading Roy. That is a terrible terrible trade for them.
Calgary passes that Florida trade. They get a 2026 1st which would be nice but a lot of mediocrity in there. If Florida trades for Hanifin they would want to keep OEL and Kulikov also.
Vancouver is really really really never going to do that. Mangiapane has negative value based on his contract. Tanev should be worth around a 1st though. They are also not trading Lafferty. The value HEAVILY favours Calgary here.
Arizona and Carolina trades never happens because the Florida and LA trades never happen.

At least the Colorado trade was reasonable and a good start!

Matt Roy is one of the Kings best defensemen. They're not trading him before the playoffs when they need him the most.

I'm amused you think that Calgary would get a 2nd round pick in that trade. Send the 2nd going the other way to LA and still no.

that kings trade is actually hilarious. calgary trades away 2 bad players for 2 good players and LA has to add?

also you are HEAVILY overvaluing mangipane in the canucks trade. myers probably has more trade value than mangiapne

Vancouver says absolutely not. Mangiapane is not close to worth his contract and we're off Myers contract this year, not worth dumping 2 firsts. Plus, lafferty is better than Mangiapane, just a brutal trade for VAN

Mangiapane isn't even an upgrade on Lafferty tbh

Avs counter with Behrens instead of Gulyayev. Behrens is a lot closer to the NHL anyhow. You'd also have to take Johansen back to make the money work.

How about trading Myers to CGY in exchange for Chris Tanev.
Does that work?
