I think I would pass if I’m the Hawks, there is no question Reichel has struggled but he showed last year he can play in the NHL. Savoie’s performance at the World Jrs really left me wondering just how effective he will be as he moves up to the professional ranks, he had an opportunity to be a big time contributor and quite frankly he was invisible in most of the games he played.

Chicago isn't giving up on Reichel yet.

If the Sabres trade Savoie they need to get a legit player back.

Reichel isn't Richardson's idea type of player but he's invested in building Reichel into it. He was throwing hits yesterday, something he's shied away from in the past. This season is building a foundation, the offseason is about building on top of that foundation, and next season is about results.

That being said, Savoie is a stud but I believe this team is moving away from 5'9" players.

The LA trade is probably fine value-wise, but there's no real reason for LA to want to do that. Turcotte is a least good while he's healthy.

Adding Crouse is appealing. Krebs has been playing bottom line/occasionally 3rd line, he's being asked to do a different job, that's where the holes are, and I don't see turcotte playing a grinding role well either. I'm ok with moving savoie if it makes sense, but reichel isn't exactly a hulking brute either, rather use savoie to get something we need- like a physical right shot d to play on the second pair. Not sure if kampf makes the roster, but I'd be ok with 4th line help and faceoffs.

But don’t worry, the Sabres would LAUGH at that swap idea anyways & it’ll never happen

-Sabres giving up too much in the ARZ trade, take out Jokiharju & it’s a “maybe”

-the swap w the Kings & with the Hawks makes ZERO SENSE

-the Leafs trade is okay-ish, if we can’t find a better defensive center
