Well, if we could do any of that, I'd be all for it.

Bruins would probably sign Hanafin if they want to spend on another D

Xhekaj would cost byfield at least

what possible reason could boston have for doing that? Gavrikov doesn't help boston, and he's wildly overpaid. would rather just keep the goalie tandem if that craptastic offer is the best that comes to don sweeney.

I doubt that the sheriff is worth Byfield.

He’s worth something… but not that much.

Is this a joke? lol it must be

Xhekaj is barely a NHL player, yes he's strong and can fight but he's terrible defensively

Ullmark has "1.5 seasons" left on his current deal before 'all bets are off'!.
The play IMO = would be to move LU at the TDL to a West-playoff team wanting the "push-player" they need in net to really contend and for two-runs!

Conversely, BOS asks/gets/trades for the top-6'er production FWD coming back that they can likely retain going forward, if necessary...
Sheesh all dreams. fairies, shamrocks & unicorns here LOL!!

I would strongly consider that as the habs. Maybe add a bit like a second or a third to convince us

For long term cap balancing, I don’t believe keeping Ullmark until he leaves as a FA is not a viable alternative. Their record since last year has suggested it is a winning formula.

If the Kings want to move PLD, I’d consider Ullmark, DeBrusk, and a #1/Merkulov or Lysell if the strategy would be to acquire a long term center. I just don’t think either team takes that risk and it’s only viable if the Kings don’t like what they see about PLD fit.

The deal as outlined above just doesn’t make sense for the Bruins. There are some good Dmen in free agency and they have cap room

Yeah, PLD has to produce and maybe grow-up before he wears a spoke-B.
LU for a top-6 is on my radar' if possible.
If not, sooner keep LU/Jake + + and make a run and deal w/ changing guys/top-6 in the offseason...
