Honestly, if Celebrini goes one and Levshunov goes two, I think they consider it. The dropoff (in terms of Sharks needs) after 2 is quite large.

Depends on if 6'7 Saliyev drops there or not
Outside that there's not much difference between 4th-9th OA really
Saliyev is the only piece you cant find elsewhere in the 1st

It really just depends where the picks land. If the Jets are out the 1st round then we're much more keen on taking this on. I just don't know enough about Barron.

Makes little sense for NJD to move Holtz here unless Guhle is on the table

Last I checked your prospect cupboard, the Sharks need everything.

I mean he's a NHLer at 22. From the little I've seen and what i've read is he doesn't have the highest ceiling but is likely just a really solid middle pairing guy. Seems like the biggest knock on his game is that he just needs time to adjust to the NHL pace and get more physical.

I agree with everything else. It's very dependent on who's on the board at 3, who they think will be there at 6, and where the Jets pick is. But Grier tends to make those calculated decisions if the guy they really want isn't there

Would you trade Joshua Roy for the package you made here for Holtz?

Seems like you don't know much about our prospects then. Sharks have Too many LD. LWs are are VERY good. Some solid RWs but could use blue chip. Goaltenders aren't worth looking at until their 23 unless it's a Askarov/Wallstedt. They have some really solid Center prospects, but you can never have too many, especially if Smith goes to the wing. RD is there's a true lack of any NHL projectable prospects.

Both can be addressed in a massive if they were to get some draft luck and get Celebrini and Parekh

Holtz is a hell of a lot more valuable than Roy

You guys have a ton of middle 6 and middle pairing or less prospects, there is a massive void of top end talent in the system, this when I say "Everything" I'm referring to SJ's need to take the best player available for the next 5 drafts. So loose the holier than thou attitude, Sharks have a long dark road ahead of them.

Shakir, Thrun, Musty, Smith, Eklund, Gushchin, Bystedt, Bordeleau, Cagnoni. All of them are on trajectories to range from elite players in the league to middle/top six or top four D. I'm also leaving off some wild cards like Robins, Halttunen, Lund, Rimashevsky, Hävelid and Laroque who have capabilities to be fairly impactful player with decent ceiling but maybe not as sure they'll get there

It's not Holier than thou, it's just a response to you trying to dunk on the Sharks prospect system, when you're straight up wrong. And you're not even using "holier than thou" in the right context lol

If you think they still need FIVE drafts to get back to re-stocking their prospects than you just aren't aware of their current prospects
