No matter the fact that he's arguably the best 4C in the league, EDM is NOT going to give up a potential 1st+ for Nic Dowd. And I swear on my mom, if you cite Paul Gaustad, I'll find a way to convert your soul into a cake

And what gets buffalo to do that? The caps won’t be trading their most likely top 10 pick this year. But if they can get another 1st for Dowd I’d include that

Agreed Mitts is the highest scoring player on the Sabres they arent going to trade him for spare parts.

I don't think the caps are a good trade partner for Mitts. They want a bigger D in his late 20s. If Jensen was 5 years younger this would work.

I'd absolutely love to get Mittelstadt to DC, but I don't see a real trade fit unfortunately. It's a shame, he's one of the few guys that really fits the mold of who they should be targeting

He’s on pace for almost 30 goals on one of the lowest scoring teams in the league, how is he a cap dump at half retention? Either way could be any team
