I was actually thinking about pinto, wonder what it would cost to trade and to sign him?

Guy was an early 2nd.. so a first rounder is probably in the region, since he's playing well its probably 1st plus another pick or prospect not named richie or guluyev.

But to sign him would most likely be 3.5 plus

In your estimation, is Pinto worth more or less than what Colorado got for Newhook ?

I would say less,

Newhook trade: was late 1st, 2nd, and warm body
Newhook had a higher draft rank, more games, more points, more playoff experience and a cup.

Again I don't know if pinto would be a fit but it was definitely on my mind I havent seen alot of him, because of contract and suspension issues

Yes of course, but they're not building on 1 player, maybe I should have said it differently

Stutzle, Tkachuk, Pinto, Greig, Sanderson, Zub, Kleven, Sogaard are guys they seem to want to build around

Obviously, new ownership and management is very recent so we don't know where they'll go because there is also guys like Norris, Batherson, Joseph, Chabot and Chychrun that might stay in the mix long term, hard to say with such a transition
