I’d do the first and Gibson for Hanifin, but no way Anaheim then takes that first and Wolf for Zegras.

I wouldn't say 1st + Wolf is insane underpay.
Add one more quality thing and yeah maybe.

Would love to have Hanifan but Wings can’t afford him. Got the market cornered on LH Dmen

Fair enough ... , What would it take to let Zegras go?

So glad you added the thirds to the Jiricek and Zegras trades to make them fair.

Those are two of the worst homer misevaluations I've ever seen on CapFriendly.

Thought the awful Jiricek proposals had passed, but here we are again.

You don't have the pieces in Calgary. We would be looking for a blue chip RW or RHD that's young as the main piece.

You're 2 years late on Mangiapane's value. Jiricek isn't getting moved!

Since Anaheim has Zegras under contract for 2 more seasons, there is absolutely no reason to sell low. This is a concept a lot of people on this site have problems with. Realistically what you think his value is really doesn't matter because Anaheim is holding all the cards. If someone has to have Zegras eight now I'd imagine it's going to take a massive overpay.

I wouldn't do the Hanifin trade from the Detroit perspective. We are thin at RHD so losing Gibson would hurt. Also we would need about 7M in cap going the other way since that is about his extension. Also giving up our first when we still have organizational holes to fill wouldn't be very smart. Also LHD is a position of strength for us, we have something like 14 LHD in our organization.

Boy just what COL needs to do pay a 1st ignore their obvious need at center and add a dman they drop in the 3rd pairing.

Jiricek isn't getting moved. Besides, you could add Andersson to that deal and Columbus would still say no.
