Hawks obviously decline. Why would the Hawks PAY the Habs to take $8m in cap off their hands. Hawks counter w/ Dvorak, Armia and Montreal's '25 1st (top 10 protected) for Chicago's '25 3rd.

habs probably have to put their first this year in that package, with either jets or calgary first, harris and kidney or other prospect for Necas and not sure that even gets him. I also assume deal start at 8mil per.

I wouldn't even take Dvorak AND Armia together if the 2nd round pick was going TO CHI. They are both cap dumps.

Canes likely would only be willing to move Necas to the Habs in a deal for one of Suzuki or Caufield. They likely don’t want a futures package or they just keep him.

You are far kinder than me, I wouldn’t even offer sending the Hawks 3rd back as part of your counter proposal.

Armia, Dvorak and Montreal’s 2025 1st round pick for a conditional bag of cheetos. Habs only get the cheetos if both Armia and Dvorak play more than 70 games next season.
