Rangers say pound sand, Cuylee isn't available for trade and certainly isn't being used to trade Goodrow.

It's actually cheaper over the next two seasons for the Rangers to buy out Goodrow than it is for the Canadiens to buy out Armia. In fact, the terms of a Goodrow buyout are so favorable to NY that I'm convinced he's the single most likely player to be bought out this summer.

Why would the blues do this. Hayes is fine while we retool and let our prospects develop. His cap hit is 3.5 mil for 2 more years. No need to pay to get rid of him

So Montreal is going to get 2nd and 7th round picks for taking two years of Hayes at $3.6m per BUT only give up a 6th round pick to trade one year of Dvorak at $4.45m?? Oh and Hayes has out scored Dvorak 81 to 35 over the last two seasons… get out of here with that garbage.

By the way, good luck getting a 2nd round pick for a # 7 d-man.

If the Rangers buyout Goodrow this summer they gain extra space next year, and then the following year the cap hit is $1 million. After that it’s $3.5 million for one year, but that’s after Panarin and Trouba’s contracts end.
