If Boston is moving Swayman, Mercer is the piece I want coming back.
That's also an underpay for him. It'll be north of 6 IMO.

Don't see the blues adding another Rhd at 4.4 mil while we have Parayko and Faulk.

I'd love Tkachuk on NJ, but its safe to say NJ doesn't have enough to get him. If it doesn't start with Hischier at the very least, Ottawa isn't taking the call.

I’d turn down Mercer and the 2024 first for Swayman without giving it a second thought. The Bruins aren’t trading him.

Hischier is better than Tkachuk, with a better contract at a more valuable position tho so that doesn't check out.

They are not. Similar offensive results, but Tkachuk is BAD defensively.

I don’t even think Mercer is a good enough centerpiece for a Tkachuk trade. Holtz and Casey are meh too.

Honestly if there’s no Hischier or Nemec in the deal, I’m not sure there’s anything exciting

Blues need to get younger on D, Marino would be a good fit. He lost his way with NJ this year especially on D, may benefit from a new situation
