Skinner likely isn't waiving for Chicago. And can't see the Hawks having much interest because of that 3rd year remaining on his contract. And there's no point in signing Stammer to play on RW. That totally negates his lethal one timer. He needs to play on LW.

Skinner probably won't waive for Chicago.
Bryson signing for less than his QO is possible but unlikely.
Why Hayton? There's so many better options.
Girgensons should only get 1M max. I appreciate what he does but that money can help more elsewhere.
Same with Krebs.

I think Skinner would like to maybe participate in the playoffs at some point so I doubt he waives lol.

not that the hawks would have much interest...Rosen is a good prospect but I would want more either way to take on that full contract.

When I think of cap dumps, I think a mid first round pick for every 5 million the player is owed sounds right. Skinner isn't a straight cap dump, but he isn't worth anywhere near 9m. If a team values the goals he scores, despite the warts, maybe they value him at 5-6m. He's not gonna be everybody's cup of tea. So minimally you are looking at at least another first or equivalent. Plus, Rosen may not be the compensation another team wants, he's an undersized (skinny) skilled forward that is learning a two way game, but his offense doesn't jump off the page in the ahl. Not to throw shade at the guy, but if I was Chicago's gm, and you are selling me on an undersized forward with mid first value, I want him to be near ppg in the ahl (it's not his first ahl season). I guess I'm saying, if Terry won't let adams retain, and he wants Skinner gone (I actually don't think pegula wants Skinner gone btw), it's going to cost additional pieces, and that/those pieces are going to hurt.

I also don't think any of Pegula, Adams or Granato are eager to dump Skinner like the fans are
