Beyond that... every single team you're asking for a 1st from would block your number. And if you want to give Petterson away for so little, then feel free to contact Columbus about him; just don't bother with Rakell.

That Florida trade makes no sense. Panthers are strapped by cap. Trading knight wouldn’t be a cap dump he’s still a goalie not signed to a huge deal, but not a cheap deal either. Karlsson coming back is not a good return. It increases team age, cap hit by a million dollars, and they lose an 1st & 2nd. Plus Dubas said he’s keeping him, Malkin, Letang and of course Crosby.

Ottawa trade is rough, genuinely think you'd be lucky to get a mid round pick back for Smith even with that money retained.
