I like Nelson and would move Perfetti in the right deal, but Winnipeg obviously isn't moving him for one year of a 33 YO.

Not to mention Nelson doesn't waive.

Building a deal around Pulock makes more sense for Winnipeg.

What do you think Winnipeg has to add to get Pulock?

Unfortunately, Pulock won't be waiving for Winnipeg, so there isn't a deal to be made, but the Jets would be adding for sure.

I think you're right though, Perfetti should only be moved for a Pulock type to solidify that dcore and he's good enough he should be able to get you a younger player that fits that role

A young top six forward and a top 15 pick for a 32 year old rental? Pass.

Now Winnipeg would do this Pulock deal, but the Islanders wouldn't. They wouldn't have to add to Pulock, Winnipeg would need to add.

even with an extension this doesn't make much sense. Sabres aren't in a position to subtract from their top six.

Change it to Ostlund and something in 2025 and this gains traction.

I like idea of adding Nelson, but that offer is ridiculous. 2025 1st with top10 protection can be the offer.

Maybe this guy from Dauphin (Pulock) will want to come to Winnipeg, as opposed to the other guy from Dauphin (Trotz) who said no. I'm with you, I doubt he would waive.

That would sure be nice. Pulock appears to be almost exactly what the Jets defense needs. It would have to be something Winnipeg seriously considers if Pulock would waive.

Nope. I was just trying to make a joke that Trotz also turns the Jets down. It just so happens that they are both from there.

Dauphin is a nice small town. Its been ages since I visited though.
