Whats iafallo worth in the offseason
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Benzino204</b></div><div>This is probably accurate. The good thing is that his contract isn't long term, so there would be more teams interested than they would be if he like 4 years left.</div></div>
I'm hoping the Jets have a deep run this spring and Iafallo contributes over that stretch. We don't have the cap to make it work next year with Iafallo, but would love to get a late 2nd from a contender at the draft next year for him.

Yeah I wouldn’t either. Again I saw this on some site, I can’t remember where, but first thing I said is “no on Barlow “

A Core Piece Moved
Flames don't have a lot of RD. Brz Tanev Andersson are our best RD assets. Weegar had been playing LD for 99% of his time here. Plus we have so many LD prospects that might make the team next year in Solovyov, Poirier, Kuznetsov. We don't need more LD assets. This swap just doesn't make sense for CGY

canada has the better forwards and defense but if they cant find a goalie by 2026 they might be in trouble

I'm being genuine when I say this because as a WPG fan, I saw first hand how PLD is as a player day in and day out...DON'T DO IT! You dodged a major bullet in the off season. You should feel lucky that Hughes didn't pull the trigger on a PLD trade.

Jets need Lindholm
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Benzino204</b></div><div>We'll see at the deadline if Lindholm a) doesn't sign in Calgary, and b) if the Jets need an injection in the lineup.
Calgary can get more than that for Lindholm.
I'm in the minority here it seems, but the Jets can absolutely go big on a rental.
Winnipeg has Lucius, McGroarty, Chibrikov, Salomonsson, Lambert, and Barlow coming up. The prospect pool is good, and deep enough to sacrifice one of those guys for a rental the caliber of Lindholm. His two way ability would be beloved by Bones.
Of those prospects, my choice to go is Lucius, but this is the time to go all in and make that sacrifice for the Cup.</div></div>
If we can get Lindholm for a 1st 2nd and a prospect not one of main ones (McGroarty, Barlow, Lambert, Lucius, chibrikov) I'd do this deal swapping heinola in tbh. To get lindholm without the major prospect would be a massive win. Ik term would be nice but perfetti needs a deal ehlers and connor are coming up and dmen as well. I'd say a rental is better bc if he doesn't fit we don't have issue and if he is we're winning games can try and get him on a 2-3 year deal in the 7m range or trade his right or just move on.

SJ should accept. It's a good amount of money/cap to take on for 2 years but that high 2nd might make it worthwhile.

Replacing KFC
Probably fair market value for Konency, however if he becomes available they’ll be a ton of suitors for him so any team that will acquire him will likely overpay. So I think for that reason Philly would decline this offer.
Good work though!

If they get competent goaltending, it won’t be. My guess is they put a protection on it.

A Healthy Villardi
I agree with putting Vilardi at 2C and leaving the 1st and 3rd line intact, as those line have been doing well. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if the team gave Perfetti another run at 2C and had Vilardi on the wing.

At that amount, could probably add him AND keep Goodrow. Not a bad option.

Dubois
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BruinsWoahWoah</b></div><div>Yeah I don't see the need here - why trade for PLD and play him at wing when he is a C?
Also don't think he would sign that deal - he is looking for $8-9M AAV on his next contract.</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Benzino204</b></div><div>It's not a huge stretch to put him on the wing. He played a dozen or so games on the wing in Winnipeg</div></div>
There is always another center on Hughes’ line. For faceoffs and for defending down low and near net. They want to avoid getting Hughes tied up. Once they turn the other way, especially for transition, Hughes is back in the middle.
It’s like a Hughes line center wing hybrid. Haula played that role mostly last year. Sharangovich in two years before that. Mercer has also filled the spot at times.
Dubois would be there in this lineup.

WPG JETS fan here. Stanley is a Pylon. You sure you want to give up a potential starting goalie / back up at worst for a pylon? If so... then DEAL.
WPG likes trading with BUF, so we counter with Stanley for a bag of used pucks. Let's keep in good standing.

This doesn’t really make sense for the Preds — they shouldn’t be trying to compete now, and Dubois probably isn’t interested in Nashville.

It's a known fact that both Scheifele and Wheeler are bad in the locker room and that comes from Jets fans themselves.
