I can't imagine the bonuses this team would incur. This is the most cap-hell line up possible with all the rookie contracts and light cap space.

I would think that Oilers would want someone other than Rosen, maybe Borgman imo, but that 1st would be downgraded to 2nd (Pulju and Kassian for Brown, Borgman and 2nd would work.).. As a Leafs fan.. HECK YEAH!! Zack Kassian is nice addition for POs, but would not be part of team in 19/20 for sure.

Overpayment. A bust and an overpaid 4th liner. I'd give you brown, Kassian is worth a 5th at best, and JP is worth a decent depth player, so Brown and maybe a 5th.

Would you care to elaborate?
JP is busting out, and anyone that cant see it is blind.
Kassian is a 4th liner getting paid 2 million dollars, the Leafs have a cap crunch. Connect the dots.

Well captain diplomacy, the media and Oilers fans are ripping this kid left and right. Brown has played well this season despite his meager stats. Kassian is a garbage player that wouldn't make the Leafs, ever.

So the public perception is Edmonton is sending a guy they are disappointed in and a guy that sucks to Toronto. Puli is getting close to being a bust and he may need a fresh start to succeed. You aren't going to get a 1st rounder for a player in that position. Remind me, how much did you get when you traded Nail Yakupov?

What besides the lack of production makes Pulju a "bust"

The fact that he has seen no progress in the two years since being drafted, still has no ice time, is being scratched, and yes, the production. The fact that you don't think that a 4th overall pick with no production and no progression is not a bust is telling.

I will however be more clear: JP is not a bust YET, he is busting out because of a lack of development. Put him on a team that knows how to develop a player, and I think he can hit part of his potential.

Random2152 believes he can sign Puljujarvi to a negative cap hit, where he'll pay the Leafs to play for them. Based on his "example", you are "crazy" not to accept "reality". You can expect multiple replies from his multiple accounts until you change your mind.

Hahahahahaha! I have multiple accounts?!? My god you are ******* delusional. You actually don't have a clue, and your response shows that you are literally just making **** up at this point. Reality is JP has a ton of potential, but he is busting out. Players like that do not get large returns. Yak got a 3rd I think?

And the projection on your part is hilarious. Mental health awareness day is any time you open your ******** mouth.

so mr hypocrite what makes pool party value less than a 1st but ho sang value a 1st? I said ho sang is a bust and you strongly disagreed and said that nyi wouldn't trade him for any less than what they drafted him at which was a 1st......but now you're using the opposing argument to attack pool party? I don't disagree with the point that you made....which is pool party is looking like a bust, i just thought it was funny how you pick and choose who to defend and attack based off nothing but your opinion...haha

I 100% agree with you.mcdavid can only make you look so good he need to be on a team where they don't need him to be a top 6 player.......due to terrible team management oilers need him to be way farther along than he actually is and that pressure/expectation could be whats killing him

Yeah, I agree on the Ho-sang bit, especially now Ho-Sang is not worth a 1st. I wonder if we might see Ho-Sang for JP. Someone must be kicking tires on that. Two under performing prospects who need a move, it makes sense.

Yes it kind of does... was he drafted for his production or was he some sort of elite shutdown winger?

Okay boss, here is the thing here. You offered Connolly for Ho Sang straight up. Connolly is a 6th overall bust who was drafted 10 years ago. Ho Sang is a 1st rounder who hasn't been even given a chance to succeed despite scoring at above .5 points a game in his small sample size. Puli hasn't performed period. He has played 100 games and has 29 points. Unlike Ho Sang, Puljujarvi has been given every opportunity to succeed but just hasn't and management appears to be ready to move on. The Islanders, have said they like Ho Sang, they just want him to take the defensive game more seriously.

Two very different situations but of course, you'll take stuff out of context and ignore other pertinent information just so you can feel good about your self. You're a joke and you don't know how discussions work.

Wrong. The whole reason Puljujarvi doesn't have eye-popping stats is because he plays mostly 3rd line and never on the 1st PP. McLellan definitely does not push him up the roster, anyone paying the slightest attention to the Oilers would know that.
