He’s worth no more than a 5th. He was just on waivers

I don't think anyone realistically expects a non conditional 2nd rounder in return. Realistically it'll be a conditional pick. The better Kovy and the team do together, the better the pick gets for Montreal.

Lol, they’d rather pay a 1st for Kreider than a 2nd for Kovi. Jesus.

he was not picked up on waivers by anyone because it came with a 6m cap hit for this year and next. The 750k or so he is making right now would've been claimed on waivers by every team

To be fair, he was just on waivers at $6.25 million for 2 years.

welcome to the Cap era where that doesnt matter if you're a point per game on a league minimum Contract.

your evaluations all lack Context from your Critique's on NYR and CHI fans posts to MTL fans posts .
the one thing consistent is fans on all sides never agreeing with you or even close because again you dont get how cap effects value (while posting on a site based on Cap's impact lmfao )

Anyone who is still using this he was just a waivers explanation is lazy and hasn’t even watched Kovy since he joined the habs. LA was going no where and didn’t give Kovy the role he needed. The guy is driven and has proved it with the habs. He has played big minutes and is still effective on the PP. If he keeps it up like this till the deadline there will be lots of teams calling. A second wouldn’t surprise me but perhaps it will end up being a conditional 2nd, either way This has been a great cheap move by Bergevin.
