I'd add Tage Thompson and Marcus Johansson to the list.

Why give up on Tage? Hes 22 and has the tools to be a very solid player. Not sure I understand this hate towards Tage.

Why on earth is Curtis Lazar on this list? He's the single hardest working player on the team every single night... Tage Thompson should be on this list way before Lazar... I also personally think McCabe is a great #5 or 6 dman with great leadership who is being used improperly... That said I won't be devastated if he gets moved.

Thompson was actually showing promise prior to injury. He was bad last season, but if the right deal came along I'd be fine. MOJO is the same thing. He's done better on the wing but expendable

Because he's shooting a career low and is bound to revert back to form. Especially if they get a 2C

He scores 40 with Eichel and now has no center to play with...give him a decent 2nd line center or put him back on the 1st line and he'll be fine

McCabe is trash. It's the Risto argument again.

Because we traded ror for patrik bergland- who was terrible and quit hockey, vladimir sobotka- who was terrible and finally landed on ltir, a first rounder that became ryan johnson at pick 31, and tage freaking thompson. Thompson was the 4th best prospect (miles behind thomas, kyrou, and kostim at the very least) that st louis had, but somehow our gm found himself over a barrel and for reasons i will never understand, accepted thompson as the one non-cap dump player. He was ahl level when he was here last year, he looked awkward on skates, and he pulled that stupid toe drag that never worked any time he was 1 on 1. He had a nice shot. There i said something nice. Maybe when he fills out he will be a useful player, but he looks like a 3rd liner to me.

So your the person that will never like Tage simpily cause he was part of the ROR deal. You think he choose to be that?? HE WAS 21 LAST YEAR. He should have been developing. But he had a tremendous summer and a tremendous camp and could have made this roster however they decided to let him gain confidence which was the correct move, and should have been the move all last year. Unfortunately he got hurt in his first call up. Dont be so hard on a guy only because you dont like the trade because its over with and you cant take it back.

Everything you said is true. And no part of this is his fault. It depends on who he becomes. If hes a 20 goal power forward on the right wing, people will forget. If hes a bottom 6 plug i think the next gm trades him. Nobody said life was fair.

Agreed. I think the 20 goal power fwd is very possible
