Sandin is not a top 4 d man. Neither is Dermott. Same with Liljegren

That Rielly trade is sooo bad for the leafs. We already have a crowded top 6 and were not trading our best defensemen for a forward we dont need

Not sure what's worse, calling Morgan Rielly a " Norris-caliber player " or saying Brock Boeser is a " mediocre forward "

And the solution is to trade the best one for a Right winger? Lord knows they need another one of those

Well I mean Boeser isn't better then Nylander or Marner and Hyman and Mikheyev are needed in the top 6 so yes on this lineup he would be mediocre and Rielly is an extremely good player and this is indisputable.

Yup. I agree this trade doesn’t make sense for leafs, but that comment is even worse than the armchair team

Definitely the Boeser comment. The Rielly thing isn't all that unreasonable. Imo Rielly should have been a Norris finalist last year. And yes, of course I'm biased.

Rielly had 1 poor season playing through injury, why does everyone think he's just an average middle pairing Dman now?

I say in 2-3 years sandin will be able to replace muzzin at the top 4 and muzzin can go slowly move to the bottom pairing to ease his level of play. Liligren is probs gone

And yet the Canucks would decline immediately...

Rielly played this season injured. In his last healthy season (last year) he was up there for it. He was top5 in voting

They'd be stupid to. Rielly played through injury this year, and was top 5 in Norris voting last year. Young #1D for a young quality winger? I'm taking the D man every time

If we have a lot of LHD why are we trading our RHD (Holl) for a guy with 1 year left?

Well yes because Vancouver needs better forward depth and Toronto needs defensive depth, it just doesn't make sense for either team.

I'm not denying Rielly is a great player, but Boeser is a huge part of the Canucks core. They already have a top LHD in hughes. Trading Boeser would create a big hole at RW.
And I mean if we are looking at age, Boeser is 23...

Toffoli isn't signed... Podkolvin and Lind aren't NHLers and Virtanen is not a top line player.. So yes, yes they would

Well i assume the only way theyd consider trading Boeser is if Toffoli gets re-signed. If not forget it.

I think my point is that Boeser ain't going anywhere, even for Rielly
