It's not , you'll need to include JTs first born and any cup the Leafs win would be changed to CBJ would have to be part of the deal

Quality over quantity. Even then, they would never move Schiefele. Would have to be a big over-pay.

Welp... these are getting worse.

Just saying Tavares isn’t waiving to leave Toronto any time soon... also Columbus would have to send more then just Jones tk afford Tavares 11 mil contract, more then double Jones 5.4.

That Scheifele trade is bad. Would you take that package for Matthews? Not saying the players are equal, but considering their play along with their contracts, I feel Scheifele has more value.
Hall is getting a lot more, especially if going to a Canadian team (tax reasons only, not a shot at the teams themselves).
Jones trade would need a 1st included or at least $3m retained on Tavares' salary.

You improved the Jones trade but got worse every where else.

Hall gets alot more, why would he lock himself into 7 years for that?

Scheifele trade is just bad.

Scheifele begins with a stud young top 4 RD or very good center. Obviously you're not giving up Matthews, no trade to be had here

CBJ politely declines. Tavares is a very good player.
That being said...not enough for Jones.
Any offer for Jones would need to have a 1st attached, and probably from a top (bottom) 3 team that is not lottery protected, and a top tier forward.
That being said, Jones is too valuable a player, on too good a contract, and too good a teammate, to trade.
Just like McDavid, or Matthews, or Eichel, or OVI, or Sid, are the foundation of their franchise. That is what Jones is to the Jackets. Period.

I'm not even looking at the Jones proposal before I say "no". The guy is the foundation of our roster right now and on a killer deal.
