Description

I see a lot of Eichel Trade or other threads completely destroying the team for a full on rebuild, wich is legitimate because this organization is going nowhere. My question is, are you still fully statisfied with picking Dahlin in 2018?

I know he was the #1 consensus pick and I think he's a megasuperstar in the making but after 2 years, knowing Svechnikov is an absolute beast, would you be happier with him on the right wing of Eichel, I cant imagine how this duo would destroyed the defense of any team.

Dahlin is a great pick and any team would have choose him, I just wonder if you would swap them if some kind of genie granted you that wish?

Eichel and Svechnikov would be nasty. But Dahlin was breaking Bobby Orr’s records. His defense needs work, I believe the Sabres are happy with the pick. 84 points in 141 games 2nd all time for teenage defenseman.

Dahlin's a much better player. But he spends 2/3rds of his ice time with Buffalo's 2nd/3rd/4th lines. And they're hot garbage.

All right! I trust you guys, I guess its just the wow factor maybe, I see some crazy highlights of Svechnikov and he looks amazing when he comes to MTL while Dahlin didnt popped my êtes but I know he's crazy good dont worry!

Dahlin a 2nd pair dman lmao guy just turned 20 and hes already the best defenseman on his team. If he was on a good team playing 1st pairing minutes he'd be in the norris conversation from here on out

Of course, I will choose Dahlin, although I am Russian and I really like Svechnikov, but the real defender #1 is more important for us, since Risto obviously does not appear to them.

Both CAR and BUF are happy with their picks

Carolina have one of the deepest blue-lines in Hockey and Svech filled a need instantly

Dahlin's defensive game is still horrible, but he adds an offensive spark the Sabres need from the blueline. Both teams are happy with the player they got from that draft and wouldn't swap them

Johan Larsson is really really good at hockey, I'm.a huge fan of Kahun and Zemgus, Reinhart is a very good first liner, I still think Colin Miller is a legit top 4 guy, and Lawrence Pilut was p good too... I also sh*t on just about every team, the only players I'll actually bother arguing are good are some guys on Carolina, Ehlers, Demelo, ZAR, Chychrun, and occasionally Matt Roy, plus I sh*t on Toronto a lot, San Jose a lot, BOS and FLA a bit, NYR a ton, and MIN a bit... It's not just Buffalo that I sh*t on...

Oh and Dahlin after year 1 was a lot better than Svech (good number 3, vs a good third liner), just in year 2, Dahlin regressed, and Svech exploded to being the best forward on the Canes...

Good thing we have Dahlin otherwise our left side would be McCabe, Pilut, Scandella and that would suck. Dahlin will take time to catch the "Star" title that Svech already has but in 2-3 years time Dahlin will be a top 10 D
