I think both would seriously entertain these deals given real life scenarios for all teams/players involved. If value is slightly off then add in a prospect or pick or something and I`m sure it can be done.
I like how you bring up "real life scenarios" but ignore Kaprizov's. Not only did Minnesota wait 5 years to try to sign the kid, but he also has the highest upside on the roster. Minnesota doesn't even consiider any deal that doesn't give them a 1C+. It's that simple. Idc if you're not as high on him as others, Minnesota believes in him more than anybody and they NEED a true #1C, Bjugstad is not that. He's considered a cap dump if anything.
And while on the subject of cap dumpss, you have them near half retaining on Dubnyk. Yeah that's not happening in a deal like this.
Murray's value is probably at an all time low. Jarry, while good, would be the main piece in this deal for Pittsburgh, and he's just simply not gonna move the needle for Kaprizov. Pittsburgh should resign both goalies and make a decision at the deadline.
Idk much about Riikola but i do know that he's not enough to even make MIN consider
And a 4th round pick? Yeah thats useless in a deal with this many pieces
Now, onto the Domi deal. I'm low on Domi but even with that and him being on the 4th line revently, he'll fetch more than just McCann. Simply put.
