Pretty sure Chicago isn’t giving way Borgstrom after getting him, plus Seabrook is LTIRetired, so they have no need to move his contract off the books.

If it only costs a 2nd for ericsson, i would gladly move a 2nd to give them okposo. Plus im hoping the sabres protect borgen. Then maybe seattle would take miller instead.

Play Jost at center, he’s made huge strides this year and getting a regular 2nd line role he is going to take off imo looking at a 40-50pt 2 way guy.

Those trades are bad for Seattle. Why take om dead money for low pick when you can just use your money to bring good UFAs?

And your 3 best centers are playing RW.

Because seabrook is on LTIR for the rest of his contract, this makes zero sense for the hawks, the worst piece they could lose in the expansion draft is like Calvin De Haan, Malcolm Subban, Adam Gaudette or Henrik Borgstrom and none of those are really worth giving up pieces to make sure seattle doesnt take. They might give up a low level prospect or pick to insure seattle takes de haan but thats it

Sharks probably keep Gambrell. He's quietly become a solid 2-way 3C.

Calgary is definitely not paying a 2nd for Seattle to take a top 6 center. That's just silly. Swap him with Lucic and we might pay the pick

Also Brent Seabrook literally retired, he doesn't have a cap hit and Chicago is a very rich organization that can afford to pay the remainder of his Robidas Island contract

The Jets probably protect Stanley, so the players to choose from (barring any side deals) would be DeMelo (D), Niku (D), Appleton (F), Harkins (F), Berdin (G), Brossoit (G)

avs select is not happening, Toews is protected no matter what and Avs are not giving up Jost so they dont take Graves

let Seattle take Graves. He might be one of the most over rated players on this site right now with how people assume avs will move heaven and earth to keep him. Hes a bottom pairing Dman

Sabres are only allowed to protect 3 defenseman so the three would be dahlin risto and jokiharju leaving borgen unprotected

Avs can only protect 3 defenseman and one of them will have to be Johnson because of his NMC unless he waives it and the other two will be girard and makar leavening toews and graves unprotected

Johnson has missed the entire season due to injury, Hes going to waive it. seattle is not going to take a 33 year old injured Dman who makes 6m so there is no risk of him being picked. . Toews is protected with Girard and Makar no matter what
