When looking at potential picks for the Sharks:

Unlikely at 7th: Guenther
Potential at 7th: Eklund, Clarke, Hughes
Open at 7th: Johnson, Wallstedt, Evindsson
Off the board: Sillinger, McTavish, Lucuis

If Guenther is available at 7th, I think the Sharks must consider dropping their “guy”, and take Guenther. Otherwise; I hope, I hooope we select Wallstedt. I really think he cannot be passed on. More D would be nice (Evindsson, Clarke, Hughes), and adding forward depth is desirable (Sillinger, Johnson, Eklund). But Wallstedt is as much of as a big deal if not bigger than Knight and Askarov.

So many fans don’t want to see the Sharks take Wallstedt but I think if your ever gonna draft a goalie this highly touted now is the time. Comparisons to Price and Rask. Franchise level praise that followed both come with him, and no real weakness and just a ton of positives to take away from scouting or just watching him.

One of Johnson, Wallstedt, or Edvinsson should still be available at 7 for the sharks, so I think all three would be a great fit for their rebuild. Like you said, Wallstedt could be the big fish for them though.
