I remember what Brian Boyle did in 2017-18 and how much he inspired a totally mediocre Devils team to make the playoffs. It was one of the most inspiring moments of the season when he scored against VAN on Hockey Fights Cancer Night at the Rock. Boyle epitomized the characteristics of leadership both on and off the ice. His performance was heroic. I don't wanna discount the impact that Patrick Marleau has had throughout his career and I'm sure Matt Dumba has had an impact in growing the game through diversity and inclusion, but Lindblom is a hero and a role model for what he overcame this season. He should win in a landslide.


Boyle's whole 2017-18 season was incredible. I loved watching him on the Devils.

It's alright. They outplayed us. I appreciate all of the hard work we put in this season, and it sucks we couldn't move on, but we still played well. It's disappointing that we lost, but hey, GO ISLES

At least you guys made the playoffs. It’s been one month and the only thing that happened is signing a 6th round pick and Kero at league minimum.

Yeah GG to you too. Your squad in Tampa play great (especially vasy) and they deserved to win because of that. Hopefully we can build the complete squad this offseason like Tampa has. I just can't get over how complete they are. Well played @CoopsTroops

People are taking Tampa being 17 million over the cap way out of perspective. In reality, the Lightning are only 9.5 million over the cap with Kucherov being back. Gaborik and Nilsson are on LTIR and don't play. If Tampa wins, I hope people don't call them cheaters. Tampa found a loophole and outsmarted every team.

Here in Canada the only discounts you get are maple syrup and Timmy’s. Even those aren’t as good as that.
