If it's Zac Rinaldo or Andy Greene they care, but I guarantee you if someone like Connor McDavid or Auston Matthews decided not to get vaccinated (this is a hypothetically scenario) they would just suck it up and not do anything.

Well they’d stay on the team, they just wouldn’t be able to play 40% of the season because they can’t cross the border without a quarantine.

That and they play for Canadian teams and Canada is more strict when it comes to unvaccinated people. So either way they were gonna get vaccinated or sit at home

I doubt that, they’re just holding out for an A prospect/young player like kakko or zegras.

Kakko was in the package reported by Friedman months ago for Eichel. The problem was the rangers didnt want to move one of their big D prospects in Schneider or Lundqvist

Well I’m pretty sure for the NHL it’s pretty much the same regulations for non-vaccinated players in both countries. Among a number of things that cause great inconvenience to day-to-day life, any non-vaccinated player is essentially stuck in their team’s country for playing hockey games.

Makes sense. Who doesn't want a signing bonus and trade protection. Honestly Ottawa should look at either what his brother got or a similar deal to what Kreider got (more money of course)

No, they can’t. That’s the law, and neither country is budging on that.

Who knows, maybe it changes 2 or 3 years down the line, but that’s going to be the case for the near future.

If you read the thread, you'll see this is part of his wife's divorce case and restraining order on E. Kane so not a criminal investigation.

Which means that technically, he isn't "guilty of them" per the law whichever way it goes unless it becomes a criminal investigation
