Description

IMO, even obtaining a haul like Dach, DeBrincat, etc. still leaves the Jackets a VERY YOUNG team. Not to mention they would probably have the same problem in a couple years with Dach/DeBrincat wanting to play back in a large market team setting.
The strategy should be to maybe turn those assets around to Buffalo for Eichel (who is locked in on a longer term deal).

1 year of Jones, Texier and a 1st doesn't get you Debrincat alone... Jones is incredibly overrated, and you won't get that much for him out of any GM that knows what their doing....

However, you could get McDavid for him on a good day....

How many more times do I need to see Dach and Debrincat both in the trade? It’s one or the other… and that’s really only Friedman’s opinion too. That’s his speculation, he didn’t even say that’s what’s been rumored.

that is not a rumour, listing a bunch of names while speculating trade pieces isnt a rumour.
Out of all the insiders, Friedman is the most careful when it comes to providing correct information. He was not giving a rumour in his podcast yet people are running it bc they are trade drunk
