Couture is old
Hertl is very slowly declining
Labanc had only one great season
Meier is most likely getting traded

Couture is same age Kane, both still very effective players.
Hertl had .86points per game last year, hard to tell me he’s declining.
We’re still on the fence for Labanc but he’s far from bad.
Where’s your evidence for Meier getting traded, pls send me that source, I’d love to see proof for what you say.

Could probably make a case for Eklund being the steal of the entire draft even at 7th overall. Brilliant pick by San Jose

I would have picked him over Kent Johnson. He has shown in Europe that he’s capable of playing Center. A Laine - Eklund - Bjorkstrand first line would be lit
