Dumpster Fire needs taking over? I'm potentially interested.
@flamesfan419 if you need someone for Buffalo, I'd be willing to come back part time. Wouldn't be active everyday, but likely 1-3 times per week. I check the forum every other day.
BOG- Can we please get an update on how free agency is going to run. Are we using what was initially put in the rules? Are we going with a version of AK's idea? Are we sticking with 1 free UFA signing?
Thank you, Jared Spurgeon, for your contributions to the team over the years.
In the meantime, the Minnesota Wild are proud to announce Matt Dumba as the third captain in team history!

Take a look in the rules doc. It does a better job explaining it than any of us will re-typing it out here
So we are rolling with the up to 2 signings this year but forfeit next years? Just want to be 100% sure since I have 2 guys that I would want to re-sign

correct. If you use 2 this year you get 0 next year no matter what
Presented with the facts that were produced by an investigation into the Chicago Blackhawks and their dealings with an incident in 2010, the Florida Panthers have relieved Joel Quenneville of his coaching duties. The Florida Panthers demand accountability from every member of our staff. As an organization, we extend our sincere apologies to the individuals who suffered from these experiences.
Bruce Boudreau has been hired as interim head coach for the 2021-22 season.
The Vancouver Canucks are proud to announce the signing of assistant head-coach Joel Quenneville.
We believe his wealth of experience will help mentor our young player towards our ultimate goal, the Stanley Cup.
To avoid confusion, we would like to announce that all player rights (excluding Russian players, those players will remain with an indefinite expiry date) will be expiring on their 25th birthdays.
How is it confusing? It literally says their expiry date.

because if the game goes multiple years and players get drafted in different years than irl the expiry dates are different in game vs irl and that gets confusing when pages mesh.

just makes game management easier longer term... for example PL NHL drafted xavier simoneau in the 2019 entry draft. canadian hockey rules would say that his draft rights are held for 2 years. except he wasnt drafted IRL. how do you assign player rights for people that arent drafted until a later date? you cant sign them before they do IRL so it doesnt make sense to make them go to waivers
