Im going to edit this comment with your guys replies/ opinions (and my own) the longer the comment is up. So for example; the Sharks play dump and chase. Feels like they always have and always will and when it’s successful it’s fun to watch but when it’s going bad, IT IS LIFE DRAINING. You can even put together a OFZ and DFZ (like Dump and Chase/ The Trap) etc. Looking for opinions on all teams if yah want!

Sabres would definitely be outwork/let the players play their games. Granato is bringing out the best in alot of players! Thompson looked amazing vs Detroit with Skinner. The young guys are also developing well, Asplund has made a huge jump!

I keep consistently seeing people misspelling Elvis's last name as "Merslinkins" and "Merzlikens" and it's pissing me off. Misspellings and mispronunciations have always been a pet peeve of mine, and i really want to say something about it, but it would likely be an infraction of some sort (likely flaming)

Yeah after watching a few Sabres games that was the first thing I thought of with Granato. Hopefully the culture changes entirely (and lasts longer than this year) and builds off this start with the new team look/ incoming changes after the draft (new core etc).

My dad had a pretty big hot take that he told me last night: once he gets healthy, we should trade Laine.

His reasoning: Last game vs. Colorado was the best game we’ve played all season so far, and we played without him. There also could be some team desperate enough to pay a big package to bring him in.

1)as for the trade: Lapierre would work pretty well too, I wouldn’t mind that.

2)as for misspelling Lapierre’s name: Meh, It’s fine, you got your point across. Misspelling one word once isn’t too bad, it’s just when it happens consistently is when it gets irritating. You’re good.

I'm not sure why you'd trade Laine, your forward core is already coming along with Sillinger, Laine, Chinakhov, Roslovic, Bjorkstrand, Bemstrom, Texier, Jenner there to stay or young and with guys like Foudy, Angle, Johnson, Marchenko, etc coming up, your goaltending is good with Elvis and Tarasov and on defence, it's setting up with Bean, Werenski, Boqvist, Peeke, Carlsson, Ceulemans, Svozil, Knazko, etc and your draft pick situation looks good, so I'm not sure what would be the advantages of trading Laine

PS: Man, I feel like i know too much about CBJ lol

at this point you should change your 2nd favorite team on your profile from the Avs to the Jackets lol

Being the CBJ gm is making me into a CBJ fan lol, I'm following Svoboda, I know pretty much everything about the roster players, prospects I know a decent amount about ( or at least the good ones ), etc
