I know that 2 days ago I said I’d be leaving for a while (at the very least) but I need to put this out there:

Yes, it's the only advantage for the original team that waived him. We still need teams bellow us in the waiver order to not put in a claim, but should the Leafs get him he can go straight to the Marlies should they choose.

Considering he was waived twice I dont think anyone claims him. As if Boulet passed through right back to Tampa so should Brooks for Toronto

🤞that he comes back, it would be nice to have a little more C depth. He has always performed well when called upon in, 18 games 8 points for the Leafs.

If he can immedietly pass through waivers for sure he is probs getting claimed as it gives insurance for when Engvall probs gets moved once Mikheyev returns (lots of moves probs gonna happen in the coming weeks). Gonna be an interesting December as thats when Mikheyev and Mrazek come back

Ya, because he never played in 10 or more games for the Hab's he go directly to the Marlies. But he still needs to pass through waivers, so as long as no other team puts in a claim and the Leafs do, they have options for him
