I was looking at the Oilers page of the CF prospect pyramid and I got some suggestions

Kemp could be moved up one, he is gonna be a NHL dman
Rodrigue as well, he is getting the starting role in bako with Skinner being up
Skinner could definitely be moved up one, he is gonna be a 1A goalie at least
and McLeod and Benson are NHLers now

Added those suggestions to the page of the sheet for suggestions, Benson and McLeod are still prospects due to them being age-eligible and not having played 41 NHL games

I kinda think you are throwing around Franchise Prospect a bit to much and also how are guys like Wallstedt and Johnson and Beniers Franchise when guys like Power and Seider and Raymond aren't

A tier is Franchise and Elite players and except for a bit of tinkering, the initial tiers are not my opinion

Does Martin fer have the potential to be a elite. Imo he does

I think elite is too much for him. He’s a solid top 4 guy, but to expect more is pushing it.

Yep, Elite is too much for Fehervary, he's definitely top 4 potential, top 2 you can argue but elite is too much

He is a top 2 currently playing with Carlson

He’s 4th among Caps D in ATOI though. And even if he was 2nd in ice time, playing on the 1st pair doesn’t make you a true top pair defenseman. Zub is top pair on Ottawa but I’d still call him a top 4 D. Miller and Bryson are 2nd and 3rd in ATOI among Sabres D and I’m not sure if either of them are even a top 4 D lol

yep, in the sheet, there is a comment/suggestions page, leave them there, I'll look over them when I've made sure every team is inputted properly, there'll also be a huge post in the forums with all the rules, description, etc when I've inputted everything

Should changes not be suggested/discussed here? Otherwise it’s just you reviewing them, which seems like a lot of work for you when we can do that as a group here, and then all you’d have to do as the owner is input the conclusion. Also it feels like that’s part of the point of this thread lol

I would personally adjust it too; (in orders too, first -> last in quality)

A: Eklund (borderline on him here but it’s fine to place here)
B: Bordeleau Merkley (these are guys are clear steps ahead)
C: Coe Wiesblatt Gaudreau Gushchin Robins Kniazev Cardwell Hatakka, Weatherby (3rd C ceiling)

Hatakka moves up imo, he could be a dependable 2nd pair guy but not much upside, Coe leads this pack and Chmelevski moves to D

D: Raska (yes im placing Raska leading D, I think Raska WILL be an NHL player)
Raska, Melnichuk, Chmelevski, rest idc too much about.


Raska, Hatakka, Bordeleau, Merkley are the big movers imo. Raska will be an NHL player and is just a more grinder version of Coe. Hatakka is a solid player, Bordeleau could honestly keep up with Eklund in terms of seeing the game and thats exciting. Merkley proved that if he can make the NHL full time he could be scary good. He’s a boom bust as we all know. Merkley hasn’t lost that potential. This guy is either gonna be nothing or very good. Bordeleau I could see being a 2C maybe even work up to a 1C but unlikely, tho he could have more potential as a winger because the Sharks may move him to wing to have:

Eklund - Hertl - Meier/ Bordeleau
Dahlen - Couture - Bordeleau/ Meier
Barabanov - Weatherby - Gregor
Balcers - Bonino - etc

And utilize

Dahlen - Hertl - Meier
Karlsson - Barabanov
PP

Eklund - Couture - Bordeleau
Burns - Weatherby
PP

Because Eklund and Bordeleau looked like they may click perfectly which they showed off during the camp/ scrims when they played together. Personally I see Bordeleau as quality as guys like Boldy (which I think you had in B tier, and I like Boldy in B tier).

Obviously feel free to criticize or suggest changes.

2C as his floor is unrealistic. His floor is realistically a 4C and his top end is a bad 2C. Anything more than that is unrealistic.

They will be, that's why I encourage everyone to give their input, if there is a consensus, I'll do the change automatically

Rules:
Skater must be under 23 as of January 1st 2021 ( so 1998 B-day ) and has played less than 41 NHL games
Goalies must be under 25 as of Jan 1st 2021 ( so 1996 B-day ) and not a full-time NHLer ( judgement call but if you're a team's top 2, you're not a prospect )

Tiers:
Elite=A tier so elite and franchise players
Core=B tier so 1st liners and elite goalies
Supporting Cast=C tier so 2nd liners, 2nd pairing D's and starters
Depth: D tier so middle 6/3rd liners, bottom 4 D, fringe starters
Maybe=E tier so longshots, bottom 6/3rd pairing/backups
Everyone Else= EE tier, anyone who most likely won't make the NHL

Please let me know if you have any suggestions on how the sheet should work. All tier change suggestions will be reviewed by the CF community ( hopefully ) and I will do my best to keep updated. For suggestions, either post them in CF or in the comments/suggestions page of the sheet ( if on the sheet, please put your CF username beside )

To say a players floor is 2C is pretty bold. Look at the sabres. Only 1 player with a 2C floor IMO and that's Cozens. I think Pinto is in the more Mittelstadt, Thompson, Asplund group. But I haven't watched a lot of him so I'll go with your word

I would like to present the first group of tier changes to evaluate:

Owen Power B to A: Obviously Power has elite potential, I'd be surprised if that change doesn't happen
Protas D to B (as proposed by capsfan2121) or C ( as proposed by NoVa Spartan): I'd side with Protas to C, he has top 6 potential but doesn't look like a 1st liner
Brent Johnson B to C and Vincent Iorio D to C: I had both of them as top 4 potentials in my draft rankings, we'll see your thoughts on them
