That’s pretty cool to have played against him in Junior. I know a few ppl who have played against NHLers when they were young, but never in Junior. I played against Wahlstrom is a spring hockey tournament when I was 14 in Boston. I also played on a spring hockey team with Noah Dobson when I was 11, and you could tell they could make it but when you play with someone in Junior you know they’re gonna make it and you can enjoy the experience of watching them play more as you understand how special they are, that’s sick man.

Thankfully I was the backup goalie and he was on the best team in the league by a country mile so I only had to endure his skill once. All of the other games I got to watch from the bench.tears of joy

So Marner out 3-4 weeks

Sandin 2-3 weeks

Well at least we get to potentially see Steeves and Rubins in an NHL game one day

With the leafs things change in a heartbeat per transactions

Joey could be with the Marlies in the morning and the Leafs by this afternoon

They know how to save every bit of future cap space and do these mini transactions to maximize deadline cap space

I enjoyed watching Eklund make those cavemen almost injure themselves in his first game.

Ben Bishop in the AHL on a conditioning stint

so Dobby, or Holtby or both could be gone soon

So Spezza's hearing is today

Toronto played against the Jets Sunday when the two incidents happened

Jets announced today (2 days later) Pionk is in concussion protocols. Coincidently 1 hour before the hearing

So your telling me if this is true Maurice was playing a potentially concussed player on the ice for a period and a half, nobody upstairs decided to test Pionk for a concussion and the jets withheld this announcement till Spezza's hearing?

IDK this seems a tad suspicious as they had all of Monday or even late Sunday to announce this. Also shows how bad the jets med staff are for letting a potentially concussed player continue skating for 2 days after the supposed injury.

Knight has been on and off and I got a feeling they may just want to have a future potential backup with experience should say Bob go down again. PTO is probs just to maximize the amount of time they can use him before handing him a deal or to see if he still can even play

Trotz, Vigneault, etc should be gone, no more old-style coaches, it's time for coaches who adjust to the new type of hockey

Bob Boughner put this guy in his doghouse before he even arrived in SJ.

Guy needs to be traded hes being buried by his coaching staff.

His linemates all year has been Cogs, Nieto, Bonino (when he was ice cold 13+ pointless games), Gadjovich (grinder).. Weatherby is a good rookie but they only played a bit together otherwise Labancs been playing with no one.

Bowness too yep, Therrien and many more, sure Ducharme hasn't been great but the NHL needs some fresh blood, whether it's in teams front offices or coaching staff

I could see him being dealt to the Rangers.

I'd say Rangers (just looks feasible), Ottawa (neeeeeeeeeeeeeeds help but they wont offer much), Boston (idk swap Debrusk - Labanc lmao? idk who adds), maybe the Isles (they just need some offence and Labanc with Barzal sounds intriguing).

I really don't know tho whos gonna bite on Labanc.

per Dobber frozen tools:

NICK BONINO - KEVIN LABANC - MATT NIETO
KEVIN LABANC - MATT NIETO - JASPER WEATHERBY
LANE PEDERSON - KEVIN LABANC - JASPER WEATHERBY

have been Labancs most common lines to start this year.

Yep, we'll have 5 players to have played every game after tonight too, injuries just can't stop killing us when we're already dead

I’m with you on this one, tough to tell who could really use Labanc with a 4.75 cap hit. Not an easy move, especially to a contender without taking salary back
