Description
The leafs enter the Playoffs as the hottest team in hockey. The hopes are high and they are set to face the wildcard spot Bruins. The Leafs win game 1 and 2 at home but proceed to lose 4 straight and extend their playoff drought. Auston the GOAT Mathews comes up big with 10 points in 6 games, Nylander has 9 points in 6 games, Marner has 3 points in 6 games. The fans want him out.
Jake Muzzin is tired of losing and either requests a trade back to LA or retires.

Sheldon Keefe Wins the Jack Adams

The Team decides to make big moves and move out a few big contracts, especially with the new cap: Per Frank Seravalli the cap will be $82.5 million.

Yep sounds like a great plan for the Leafs. Trading 5.6m X 2 Muzzin for an equally competent Dman 3.15m X 3 Roy and good winger Kempe. Getting assets for Ritchie. By the way...Jim Benning in no longer Vancouver GM.

Kings aren’t interested in this, they need goal scoring and their team is worse after this trade.

Marner is good, and we get rid of some of Myers so tbh it's kind of tempting - especially considering Miller would be a pending UFA.

Swap the retention from Myers to Miller and I would do it but maybe that's too much to ask.

If Campbell wins the Vezina he gets a lot more money than that, best guess is Markstrom, Grubauer, Binnington type money. I don’t get the impetus of VAN to do that trade.

Replace the 4th with a 1st and that’ll probably get you Gavvy. Holl and Dermott are…fine. I’d rather have a high end prospect than them.
