The majority of the players Holland brought in weren't that good before, but they've been even worse under Tippett. One saving grace is giving Puljujarvi more opportunities than McLellan did.

I'm interested as to what play Hamilton was hurt on. I wasn't watching players/the benches too closely until late in the first (when i realized he was missing), and I only saw him for one shift.

We’ve been doing the same thing for years and it’s very predictable now. The stupid slingshot formation entering the zone doesn’t work. It’s needs to change. There has been only two times where the caps lost of more than a goal. If we can get the powerplay going we would win a ton more games. Also 3 on 3 hockey for us is terrible.
