Might as well scratch the Connor Brown trade off your wish list because it's not happening.

Not enough value in it for Ottawa.

Try again.

As long as you know that’s wishful thinking.

Most favor the Oilers pretty heavily.

No value for Ottawa.

Boston not adding a 2nd to trade for less productive player.

Fleury can prob get the picks alone with retention, taking 2 cap dumps is not needed.

Just give Dallas a 3rd or 4th. The players are unwanted.

Wings prob do that.

Wings set at RHD, with Hronek, Sieder and Lindstrom. No need for another RHD and Wings like Gagner.

So Wings probably will not do that.

Fair enough, i was basing it purely off value, Barrie has some trade value, Gagner does not have much. Wings could flip him and get more than they ever could from Gagner.

Rather have Gagner and if Barrie was easy to flip wouldn't he already be flipped?

Your goalies leave a lot to be desired, Flowers is a clear upgrade. Flowers pulls that without the two cap dumps; try again

I'll just copy/paste from another thread with Brown involved...

Ottawa doesn't want to trade Connor Brown (or at least SHOULD NOT WANT)

The main weakness in their lineup is the lack of QUALITY Veterans. 90% of the quality they have are young players who had to do it by themselves without any veteran to rely on, except Connor. Plus the 2 positions where they need an upgrade are RW and RD, and Brown is a RW. You're creating a big need by doing this.

They have to extend him for like 5 years at 5.0, hopefully he is not too greedy

If this is NOT POSSIBLE, then the Sens need to trade him but NOT for that kind of return, secondary pieces that MAY or MAY NOT help the team in a few years.

Fleury costs a first and a prospect (would prefer a defensemen)

No he doesn’t. 37 year old rental goalie with bad contract and mediocre numbers won’t pull half that.
