Canes pass hard. KK's their future 2C. They're not giving him up for a 3rd line winger and a fringe NHLer
Damn people know nothing about other team's players. Connor Brown is a lot MORE than a "3rd liner" lol
And Brannstrom is not a " fringe NHLer", he's a 22 y/o D-man looking better and better every game. The AHL/NHL travels were not because he sucks but because he has been "in development". Covid and injuries slowed him down a bit but Batherson has also been developed in a similar manner and look at him today.

I have a different impression of Brannstrom. Wouldn't classify him as "fringe" at all.
Ok so the difference is you watch hockey games?

He's someone that cannot break into one of the worst D cores in the NHL full time... he's a fringe guy.
Again, pure ignorance

Devils pass. they can do better than that for Severson
What is he worth in your opinion?

He also called Brown a 3rd liner, lol. Connor Brown has played 82 games between last season and this season, and has 26 goals and 28 assists for 54 points in those 82 games, hardly a 3rd liner, lol.
Also, what people in lack of hockey knowledge/understanding DO NOT understand is that Connor Brown does all that matched up at ES against other teams top forwards, or on the PK, while being mainly deployed in the defensive zone. He has not been deployed as a top-6 forward and doesn't play on the PP much. He does because of covid/injuries but that's not his role.
He's an elite matchup forward ala Danault, Pageau, etc with a 0.63 PPG in Ottawa (153 GP). It's extremely valuable.

I’m sorry. I must be missing something. Do you think you could explain, well, everything? Nothing really makes sense unless you are Ottawa.
OP is not a Sens fan and pretty much all of this is pretty bad for Ottawa outside of Norris contract which is a steal. Oh and yeah, Tierney was worth that 2 years ago but now probably not more than a 6th

Matt Murray, who could have been claimed for free, is now the centerpiece of a deal for Severson?
Take the goalies out and offer JBD and 1st...or something similar.
Sokolov? 24 goals, 46 pts in 62 AHL GP, already a fan favorite.
Also, that 2nd is 35th OA at the moment, that's another good prospect if your team knows how to draft
Murray is not the centerpiece at all. JBD, Sokolov and that 2nd are the pieces, in that order.
Also, Murray at 4.75 AAV could be a good asset too. He has shown several times that he is still pretty good when he has a NHL defense in front of him. Unfortunately, the team has been heavily mismanaged and coached so it doesn't happen that often. He also has a hard time staying healthy so he could possibly end up in LTIR.
