I don't see why they would. They already have Hughes and OEL at LD why do they need Dahlin?

avs would decline, they would rather want a better fwd signed long term who is young vs a package like this...IF....girard is traded or even available this summer

That player would be Tuch on the Sabres, and no way they do that since hes a local guy etc

Nope Canucks don't have a use for Dahlin. The only way this would work is if the Canucks immediately flipped Dahlin.

Yeah, this is a HUGE win for Vancouver. They don't have to keep Dahlin, but they're winning this trade by a lot.

everyone on here saying they wouldn't are insane. They obviously say yes as they replace Pettersson with Wright, and then they can trade Dahlin or Quinn for another Kings ransom. A rebuilding dream come true

Dahlin can also play on the right side, they could even trade Hughes. I bet NJ would pay a lot for him

Is there a trade you have seen on this site that you actually have ever liked for the avs? Every single one I see it isn’t good enough for you for the avs.

there are plenty, and I comment as such.

And why do you care what I like or not, these teams have nothing to do with the sharks

Exactly, doesn't matter that the fit isn't perfect if the value is this high.

you are free to comment however you see fit, just as I can comment as I like on trades. I am not policing your dislike of every hertl trade on this site and it shouldnt be your concern of how I will comment on girard trades that not make sense for the avs

Wright + Dahlin for Petey would be grand larceny. Can't get too emotionally attached to players.

Sabres shouldn’t make either of those trades. Doesn’t make us a playoff team, and makes us worse in the future.

That would be awful for Buffalo, Pettersson has been mediocre the past 2 years and a 1st Overall is worth more without even mentioning Dahlin.

well what did you want, what were you expecting as a response by asking the question in the first place,
trying to paint a narrative of me serves no purpose to anyone,

Pretty fair offer for Girard I'd say. Well done.
