Frank Seravalli Trade

Created by: KentHughesMTL

Initial Creation Date: Jan. 23, 2022

Description
Lehkonen Trade: Frank Seravalli compared Lehkonens trade value to that of Colemans who fetched a 1 year removed 1st round pick(Foote) plus another 1st round pick. I do not believe Montreal will get that same deal but the one I have is structured around that idea (Good young player w/ a pick)

Ben Chiarot Trade: Easily a first and Sourdif is added if it becomes a bidding war between a couple teams closer to the TDL

Listen, I doubt any of these deals are close in the fans eyes but the Lehkonen and Chiarot trades are very close in value MTL will get, the others are my own Ideas and I'm not a pro so lets save the "no", "laughs, and hangs up" comments for the Toronto AGMs and you can actually post a comment with a real reason to say no eh? sounds good right?

no, Drury laughs in your face and blocks your number

edit: treliving and holland do the same

Chiarot trade seems decent though

Lundkvist is NYRs top prospect. Really don’t think rangers consider this

Allan isn't much of an upgrade to koskinen. Even with retention no way he gets a player like bourgault back, or a first round asset.
If it was a second and a player like pajuniemi then maybe the rangers consider, but even then that's a steep price for a bottom six rental. Lundkvist is out of the question let alone adding a pick.
Two seconds for Hoffman with retention is probably right, not getting a top prospect like Zary as well.
Chiarot might get a first okay.

Chiarot is not good. Certainly not worth a 1st and a good prospect.

That's his perceived value as reported by insiders. You might not think he's worth it, but that's his value at the TD

The difference in koskinen and Allen isn’t a recent first round pick. Both have been pretty poor in the past two seasons or 4 of the last 5 if you want to go back further.

There are better goalies then either of them that’ll be free agents at the end of the year. Best to ride out koskinen and go after someone like Campbell.

Lehkonen is worth at least a 2nd. Montreal should not trade him unless it brings back a solid prospect however, preferably a RD or C. It doesn't matter if that prospect was drafted in the 1st or 2nd round, as long as the potential for it to be a top 6 or top 4 is good.
That's reasonable, and depending on who is offered, could be incentive enough to move him.
He's not going to bring back a 1st and the aforementioned prospect. It's one or the other.

Chiarot's value is because at least one team will likely offer it. The chances of such an offer being outbid, are low (but not nil).

Allen isn't in the cards for Edmonton any more. They need help sooner rather than later, and Allen is out for 8 weeks.
