If we could get Laff + Schneider in a package that would be ideal. Rangers fans have him as untouchable but I think it’s pretty clear from an organizational standpoint that he’s not untouchable. I think jets would be better off targeting like a top prospect from a team. Like florida could work if they can figure out the cap, imagine getting lundell from florida somehow.

I am still trying to figure out what Wheeler is trying to figure out by his quote today, "I would say that this team has dealt with the most adversity of any team I've played on in 14 years." I'm a neutral party here but I have to admit, I never really liked Scheifele . He just looks like a really mean and inconsiderate person, some of the things he has said and done like the Evans hit really made him difficult to like.

I'm not sure how good WPG's coach is but my understanding of the Lafreniere situation is he just needs to play. The NYR coaching staff will play him for the 1st period and if the team is losing, he will only see 1-2 more shifts the rest of the game. But when he plays, he has been extremely physical, winning puck battles and able to make clean passes into the slot or through the middle.

Only way jets are likely talking with NYI is if Dobson/Wahlstrom are on the board. But I do agree that’s a likely spot that could be used. Would really help out the islanders and scheifeles one hole in his game is defense, which trotz would fix quickly.

I definitely think he kept everyone in check and the room balanced.

Wheeler on the 3rd line would be great and should be able to handle that the next 2 years. He can’t play top 6 minutes anymore.
I would like to see FeFe sit a game or two and see how he handles that. Coaches have no issue sitting Heinola or Perfetti (before) and playing BooLoo instead, so they shouldn’t have a issue sitting a guy who dogs it every shift and playing a guy who will skate his ass off every shift in his place. If he pouts like a ****, I’d sit him again!
