Yeah I went and checked thought he was still an Isle then but still Paci-Barzel-Eberle could have been intriguing

For sure, it would have never happened though. Trotz stapled Bailey to Barzals wing that 1st year. If the isles traded for Pacioretty the lines would have looked like this in 2018-19
Lee-Barzal-Bailey
Pacioretty-Nelson-Eberle
Beau-Filpulla-Komarov

Eberle walks at the end of the year and I don’t think Pacioretty would have been successful with Eberle as his opposite wing. Pacioretty is still a great 1st line winger but he’s in the perfect situation with the ideal line mates that compliment him. Wouldn’t be the case with NYI

Yeah 100%.
If it wasn't for that Panther broadcast call on him being tied, I for one would not have known.

Just looked up the definition of "in your prime" in the dictionary and his face was staring back at me; grinning!!

Same goes for Barkov-Ekblad too - so hence the excellent season...

Honestly Sandin-Lybushkin has been good so far. Lybushkin pinching the net though sometimes like our other Dman do is okay but not what I would prefer out of him. Weird how he never did it much in Arizona lul.

Gonna stay off Acgm for a bit lul

If we do get him then it makes up for 2018. But in 2018 he was cheaper to get and we could have also got McDonagh. But then again getting him = Campbell being gone unless Nylander is moved.

If I’m being entirely honest, I wouldn’t mind William Nylander in Columbus. The only questions are “do we have what Toronto wants?” and “how do we clear out the wing logjam enough to settle him into a spot?”
